Professional Publications and Presentations

Since I began my doctoral studies at Temple University in 2012, I have had many opportunities to share my work through professional publications and presentations. Some highlights include: the case study that I authored which appears in "Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities" (K.Haertl, ed., 2014), the literature review I authored with the help of five of my students,'Occupational Therapy Interventions in Adult Mental Health Across Settings", which was published by AOTA in its Mental Health Special Interest Section in March 2013, and the academic poster for which I was a co-author with a group of academics and clinicians from Australia and New Zealand, "Social Media and Contemporary CPD Climate" (Cook, et al., 2013). I have also had the honor of presenting my work in applying trauma-informed yoga instruction to occupational therapy practice at two different conference, the MAOT Spring 2013 conference, as well as at OT24vx in October 2012.
