This project was an investigation into education practices used to increase positive attitudes of occupational therapy students toward people with disabilities. This study was embedded in the Person Environment Occupation Performance (PEOP) Model ( Christiansen & Baum, 2005) as it's conceptual foundation, and utilized transformative learning with constructivist and experiential methods as the guiding framework for the experiment. It was completed during AY 2015-2016. The results of this study will be published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy, Volume 71, issue 6, in late 2017.
